April showers bring May flowers and a welcome change with Spring peeking through. With warmer temperatures than normal, May flowers seem earlier this year and put a little “spring” in the step.
April has also put a “spring” in the real estate market. Despite the volatile interest rates, most of the real estate areas where we serve are still hot due to the low inventory supply and high buyer demand. Buyers are hungry for homes. Many can no longer put life on the sidelines waiting for rates to come down. This has continued a trend of increasing sales prices with more homes under contract than 2023 year to date.
I have also been following the NAR (National Association of REALTORS) lawsuit settlement closely. This is yet to be finalized in the courts, and I am happy to answer any questions you may have. While this will have an impact on the real estate industry as a whole, we at The Kingsland Group help our buyers and sellers navigate those changes. We are taking the time to educate our clients on the process changes and new forms that will be required. We are here to help you meet your real estate goals in a professional, honest way and at a reasonable cost. Reach out for a free consultation or more information. We are here for you!
